Hot Tip: Contribution PublicPages Auto-Responder
If you’re using our PublicPages to take contributions on-line, you already know what a breeze it is to import those records into the database. However, you may not know that we’ve added a new feature in the PublicPages for contributions so that you may set-up an email to respond to your donors when they contribute.
To set-up Auto-Responder:
Go to Management --> PublicPages
Click Modify next to your contribution page.
Find the Auto-Responder area, click Send Auto-Responder. The menu will expand.
In the From Name, type who you want to appear as the sender of the email.
In the From Email, select which email you want the auto-responder to use (if there are no emails listed, you will need to add an email through the Broadcast Email Console. See our FocusOn Tutorial for more information).
In the Subject area, type how you want the title of the email to appear.
In the Response Message, type the text of your message. Do not copy and paste from Microsoft Word or a website. You may use the Merge Fields button to insert fields like name, amount, etc.
Click Save Changes.
Now when a donor makes a contribution on-line, they can receive a thank you message from your campaign!
You can also use Auto-Responder for other PublicPage, such as a volunteer signup page.
