Introduction

This week you’ll find an insightful article on overcoming stage fright for public speaking, as well as our staff pick "Backpack" for creating to-do lists and notes, and product updates for BackOffice. We also had some great news this week, as you may have seen from our email Monday. We were ranked the #1 web-based political software for a second time, which you can read about in the article below.

Product Updates - New Features

This week we have a couple of improvements inspired by clients. These type of improvements are some of our favorites because it's these small differences that make the software easier to use and that make day-to-day data entry flow.

1. Improved Error Message on the Custom Report Generator
We now offer clearer error messages when you use invalid search criteria.

2. More User List Display Choices
You now have the ability to display user name drop-down menus with the last name listed first. Our newest options include: "Last Name, First Name," and "Last Name, First Initial." To change your display setting, go to System > Options: User List Display Style.

Staff Pick: Backpack

The Staff Pick this week comes again from Jessica Hilt, our Director of Client Services. She recommends Backpack, a simple web-based service that allows you to build pages with to-do lists, notes, files, and images. Backpack also features a Calendar and Reminders that can be sent to you via email or cell phone.
