FEC Viewer Update
Important: The FEC's Viewer software, which is the program allowing you to view FEC reports, has been updated to support the new FEC version. To view new reports, you must install a new program. When prompted to run or save, click RUN. If Windows requires you to confirm that you would like to install, click OK or YES. If you experience problems, please Contact Support for assistance.

Hide Broadcast Communications on Individual and Organization Records
There is a new check box in the Communication section of Individual and Organization Records: "Hide Mass Comm." Checking this box will hide any communication that was sent out via broadcast methods (email or fax) so that only the personalized communications appear.

Group Profit & Loss by Category Type
We added a feature to the Profit & Loss report that will allow you to group transactions by Category Type, instead of simply by Category.

SiteBuilder Blog Comments
To minimize blog comment spam, site visitors are now required to type out a word (typically referred to as a CAPTCHA) before they can post the comment.

Campaign 2.0: Upgrading your Campaign

Web 2.0 is a term that gets thrown around a lot. It refers to many different aspects of new technology, although it isn’t always clear which pieces of technology are and aren’t Web 2.0. In fact, if you have a conversation with different technology advocates, you’ll probably get competing definitions and applications.

Basically, Web 2.0 is the idea that the internet can be used to empower people, paired with new technology that allows for more rapid development and faster applications. It allows you to provide tools so that people can develop their own content and make their own connections. Sites like MySpace and Flikr have been heralded as Web 2.0 icons.
