Don’t Install Internet Explorer 8 beta

You might be aware that yesterday Microsoft released a new beta version of Internet Explorer, IE8 Beta. We strongly recommend that you hold off on installing this version. Although we're sure Microsoft is working out the bugs, we don't want you to.

Currently, we have our staff members testing the beta version of IE and have found several problems that will severely impact your use of BackOffice and VoterManager. Keep in mind, this is just the beta version. When the final (non-beta) version is released, the kinks should be worked out and you shouldn't see any issues.

In other words, resist the temptation to download the beta version of IE.

This week’s staff pick was suggested by Matthew Frigon, one of our Client Support Specialists, who recommends the free web tool, to keep track of your family tree. You can invite anyone you add to your tree to sign up as well and keep the extended family growing. You can enter pictures, and record significant personal historical events. It’s a great way for families to stay connected and view a piece of their own personal history.
